I had never really used Twitter before this class so I wasn't sure what to expect, but so far Twitter has been an really cool experience. In the time that I have been using it I have seen countless articles and videos about useful tricks or activities in the classroom as well as informing me of the issues teachers can face in their careers. The only problems I have had with Twitter was getting used to the layout of the website and how to use it and getting into the habit of checking Twitter.
Diigo has shown me how I can share websites and documents with a group and everybody can annotate it highlighting what they could use for an assignment. In a classroom it allows  a teacher to share a website, document, or video and they can comment on it to give instructions and the students can annotate and take notes. In a group it allows group members to share sources and highlight relevant quotes. As an individual you can bookmark sources you use for an assignment comment notes on it and highlight relevant quotes you wish to use. In my professional life I could bookmark and categorize websites to organize activities .

  1. I definitely agree, diigo and twitter are interesting tools. Twitter has information about education and so does diigo. Diigo is a knowledge sharing tool.
